Pentecost: Gaining Instructions from Heaven
Right now we’re in the very prophetic season of Pentecost. This is an exciting month when we literally gain instructions from heaven. Historically speaking, this was the time when, 50 days after Passover, Moses went up on the mountain to meet with God and gain instruction for the nation of Israel. Pentecost also commemorates the time when, 50 days after the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, the Holy Spirit fell in the upper room. Again, instruction and empowerment came to the people of God.
This is a divine season where the Holy Spirit empowers us and enables us to break any entanglements that are holding us back from our purpose or our destiny.
The scriptures declare that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus said, “I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
Galatians 5:1 says, “It was for freedom that Christ set us free. Therefore, stand firm in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of freedom and liberty. Now is the time to allow God to give us the divine instructions that will loose us from all entanglements and empower us to walk into new levels of freedom and liberty as we pursue God for his purpose and destiny.
We bless you this Pentecost season, in Jesus’ name.

Counting the Omer Together: A Time of Fresh Revelation
On the first day after Passover, the Jews would begin counting up to Shavuot, also known as the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost. Shavuot is the celebration of the day when Moses went on the mountain and received the Torah from God. During the 50 days leading up to Shavuot, every night after sundown the people would go outside and declare to the moon and stars, “This is the first (second, third, etc.) day of the omer.”
As Christians, we recognize Pentecost as the day when the Holy Spirit was poured out. Before Jesus ascended to heaven, he told the disciples to wait together for the Spirit to come, and as they waited, they would have been counting the omer.
At WAIO, we are believing God is going to do something very significant in our families as we count the omer together. This will be a time of fresh revelation and instruction for our lives, and we hope you’ll join us in this biblical practice. We’ve even created a helpful handout to guide you through the 50 days from Passover to Pentecost, which you can download here.

Family Revival & the Joy of the Lord
Family Revival & the Joy of the Lord
We recently experienced a powerful prophetic moment at Word Alive International Outreach (WAIO) with prophet Chris Reed of MorningStar Ministries. He prophesied over two members of our pastoral team as confirmation of what the Lord is going to do in our church through our families.
First, he talked about family revival and gave the names of one member’s wife, daughter and two grandchildren through a word of knowledge. He saw a picture of a table being set as if God would use him to bring the family together.
In another word of knowledge, he spoke the other member’s home address and said, “You can’t just have it here, you have to take it home with you.”
We are believing that family revival will lead to the joy of the Lord being renewed, and we will find the path of life. As Chris prayed, “Let this church be known as a family church and one that is contagious with the joy of the Lord.”

The Just Shall Live by Faith
By Beverly Mattox
I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected. The Just Live by Faith. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come. It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.” – Habakkuk 2:1-4
We are now in the season of Breaking the Power of Delay. We must begin to move into this new day of Faith like no other day in the history of man. Through the Revelation of Righteousness, by faith, the culture of Christianity has already begun to align with God’s plans and purposes in the earth and will be shifted. It is crucial in this time to hear and see what the Lord is doing in man’s hearts to access His heart and seven fold spirit.
In Hebrews 11:5 we will learn that to see God’s unfolding plan we must walk as Enoch did in the Multidimensional realm. It is time for us, and our children, to walk with God in union, unlike any other time we have ever seen. New portals have opened and those whose hearts are stayed on the Lord will now begin to prophesy of the coming shifts in the earth realm! My army is arising and those who are called by my name will now march over My enemies and will go forth to the ends of the earth to establish My kingdom and My will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. Everything is being shaken but those who are called by MY NAME will not be shaken. They will be moved into alignment with MY PLAN, MY PURPOSE AND WITH MY PROVISION!
In each of us, there is an Egypt and a Pharaoh and a Moses and Freedom in a Promised Land. Every point in time presents an opportunity for another Exodus. Egypt is a place that chains you to who you are, constraining you from growth and change. And Pharaoh is that voice inside that mocks your efforts to escape, saying, “How could you attempt being something today that you were not yesterday? Aren’t you good enough just as you are? Don’t you know who you are?”
Moses is the liberator, the infinite force deep within, an impetuous and all-powerful drive to break out from any bondage, to always transcend, to connect with that which has no bounds. But Freedom and the Promised Land are not static elements that lie in wait. They are your own achievements which you may create at any moment, in anything that you do, simply by breaking free from whoever you were the day before.
It is time to defy Pharaoh and light up your world with unbounded light. It is time to defeat the enemy and render the strategies of darkness powerless. It is time for your family to rise to the high place of ascension. As you ascend with Him, the power that has lain dormant within will be activated and you will demonstrate God’s power of redemption to recover all.

Destiny: You Were Created for a Purpose
Destiny. It’s one of the most powerful words I know.
Destiny is simply defined as the power to control something that will happen in the future. When you realize that you were created for a purpose, your life will grow exponentially.
Scriptures like Psalm 139 and Jeremiah 29:11 show us that God formed us and planned a future for us. When I laid hold of the fact that I have a destiny – that I am here on assignment – that’s when I receive the power to live an overcoming life.
John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.”
If the enemy can come to steal your identity, he can kill your purpose and destroy your destiny. But Jesus came to reverse the curse, and now you can have a more abundant life.
Every person on earth is born with a God-given destiny. My prayer is that as you open your heart to seek God and his destiny for your life, your plan will unfold before you, and you will receive overcoming power in Jesus’ name.

A Healthier You in 2022: Encouragement & Tips
You can make 2022 a year of growth to become a more spiritually and physically healthy you. Here are five words of encouragement with tips to help you as you look forward to what’s ahead.
1. You will grow in Christ.
Do hard things. Put yourself in positions to grow in humility. To do so, try new things you are not good at. What better way to rely less on ourselves and more on Christ than our strength.
2. You will plant.
Planting encompasses all aspects of life. Choose to plant encouraging words, instruction, wisdom, time, and kindness into the lives of others.
3. You will walk in the Spirit.
Our only hope to resist the devil is to walk in the spirit. Praying earnestly and waiting in anticipation for God to move will keep us abiding in the spirit.
4. You will grow in faith.
2022 will be the year your confidence in God’s care and love soars to new heights. Faith comes by hearing God’s word. You will not only hear God’s word, but you will also do God’s word. Devise a plan to commit to daily hearing or reading.
5. You will walk in purpose.
Walking with God is a journey that is anything but boring. The longer we walk with God, the more life we experience. Daily mundane tasks become kingdom opportunities. Gods teach us to number our days and make each day count. As his child, you will experience His fullness of purpose in 2022.
