Get to know our faith community.
We’re a Spirit-filled and Spirit-led church called to be a center of transformation — spiritually and physically — for individuals, cities and nations. The earliest Christians called this “ekklesia.” In alignment with that call, we emphasize difference-making outreach and value powerful encounters with God.
We also find it important to honor the Hebraic roots of our Christian faith. We observe some of the important dates on the Biblical calendar because we find a helpful and healthy life-flow from the associated principles.
We are committed to being change agents while accomplishing the work of personal, state-wide and national transformation. We can't wait to welcome you!
EXPECT
What to expect when you visit Word Alive…
Whatever walk of life you’re in, you are welcome at Word Alive. Our gatherings are multi-racial and multi-generational, and we hope you feel right at home. When you visit, you can expect to:
- Come as you are, free from any dress code.
- Be greeted with big smiles and warm hugs from our parking attendants and greeters.
- Enjoy coffee, fellowship and pre-service worship in our lobby, called the "Connection."
- Watch your kids play in the indoor playground before and after service.
- View the service from one of the 800 seats in our main auditorium or from our family-friendly (think sofas, crayons, Legos, etc.) mezzanine with 100 seats.
- Access sign language and Spanish interpreters, if needed.
